Ingredients

Scale

Filling Ingredients

  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup fresh strawberries, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Assembly and Cooking

  • 810 eggroll wrappers
  • Butter or oil for frying
  • Powdered sugar (optional, for dusting)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Filling: Finely chop fresh strawberries, then gently mix them with softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until well combined but still chunky enough to enjoy bits of strawberry.
  2. Assemble the Eggrolls: Lay an eggroll wrapper flat, place a spoonful of the strawberry cheesecake filling in one corner, then carefully roll up the wrapper, folding in the edges to seal completely using a little water to help it stick.
  3. Fry or Bake the Eggrolls: Heat butter or oil in a pan over medium heat and fry the eggrolls until golden brown on all sides, about 2-3 minutes per side. Alternatively, bake in a preheated oven at 400°F (200°C) for 15-18 minutes, flipping halfway through for a lighter version.
  4. Serve and Enjoy: Once cooked, let the eggrolls cool for a minute, then dust with powdered sugar or drizzle with chocolate sauce before serving warm.

Notes

  • Use room temperature cream cheese to create a creamier filling.
  • Do not overfill the wrappers to prevent leaking during cooking.
  • Seal edges well with a dab of water to keep eggrolls closed.
  • Maintain medium frying temperature for a golden, crisp exterior.
  • Let eggrolls rest briefly after cooking to avoid burns and help filling set.
