Biscuit Bombs Ingredients

  • 1 can or batch homemade biscuit dough (34 inch diameter portions)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (fresh or shredded)
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning (oregano, basil, etc.)
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat and Prepare: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking sheet or line it with parchment paper to prevent sticking and facilitate even baking.
  2. Prepare the Biscuit Dough: Separate canned biscuit dough carefully or roll out homemade dough and cut into equal 3-4 inch rounds. These rounds will form the base for stuffing.
  3. Mix Garlic Butter: In a small bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. This will be brushed over the biscuits and add flavor inside.
  4. Stuff the Biscuits: Place a small handful of shredded mozzarella in the center of each biscuit round. Fold the dough edges over the cheese and pinch firmly to seal completely, forming the “bombs.”
  5. Brush and Bake: Brush each biscuit bomb generously with the garlic butter mixture. Arrange on the prepared baking sheet with space between each. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and cheese is melted inside.
  6. Garnish and Serve: Remove from oven and sprinkle with freshly chopped parsley. Serve warm to enjoy the gooey melted cheese and crispy crust.

Notes

  • Use whole-milk mozzarella for best melt and flavor.
  • Do not overfill with cheese to avoid leakage while baking.
  • Seal the dough edges firmly to keep cheese inside.
  • Fresh minced garlic provides a stronger, brighter flavor than garlic powder.
  • Serve immediately warm for best texture and gooey cheese.
