Instructions

  1. Prepare the Ingredients: Slice the chicken into bite-sized pieces and clean the mushrooms. Finely chop the garlic and onions to release their flavors during cooking.
  2. Cook the Pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. Sauté Chicken and Mushrooms: In a large skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium heat. Add the chicken pieces and cook until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken and set aside. In the same skillet, add mushrooms, garlic, and onions; sauté until softened and fragrant.
  4. Make the Cream Sauce: Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer, stirring occasionally. Add the grated Parmesan cheese and continue to stir until the sauce thickens to a silky consistency.
  5. Combine and Serve: Return the cooked chicken to the skillet. Toss in the drained pasta and mix well to coat everything evenly with the creamy sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with fresh parsley or thyme before serving.
