Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • Fresh Strawberries (firm, ripe) – quantity as desired
  • Cream Cheese (softened to room temperature) – 8 oz (227 g)
  • Powdered Sugar – 1/4 cup (30 g)
  • Vanilla Extract – 1 tsp
  • Lemon Zest (optional) – 1 tsp

Optional Toppings

  • Graham Cracker Crumbs (optional) – 1/4 cup (15 g)
  • Melted Dark or White Chocolate for Drizzle (optional) – as needed
  • Chopped Nuts (pistachios, almonds) – as desired

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Strawberries: Gently rinse and thoroughly dry the strawberries. Using a small knife or strawberry huller, carefully remove the stems and hollow out the center to create space for the filling without puncturing the outer walls.
  2. Make the Cheesecake Filling: In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth and creamy. Add powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and lemon zest if using, then mix until the filling is well combined and fluffy.
  3. Fill the Strawberries: Using a piping bag or a small spoon, carefully fill each hollowed strawberry with the cheesecake mixture. Fill them evenly without overfilling to maintain a neat presentation.
  4. Chill Before Serving: Arrange the stuffed strawberries on a serving tray and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes. This allows the filling to set and flavors to meld together.
  5. Add Final Touches: Just before serving, optionally sprinkle graham cracker crumbs over the strawberries or drizzle them with melted chocolate for extra flavor and texture.

Notes

  • Choose firm strawberries for better holding capacity and presentation.
  • Use room temperature cream cheese for a smooth, lump-free filling.
  • Do not overfill the strawberries to keep them looking neat and tidy.
  • Chilling helps the filling set and enhances flavor blending.
  • Fill strawberries shortly before serving to avoid sogginess.
