Ingredients

Scale

For the Chicken

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast or tenders
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs or panko
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying (vegetable or canola)

For the Bang Bang Sauce

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
  • 12 tsp sriracha (adjust to taste)

For Assembly

  • Mini slider buns (soft)
  • Fresh lettuce leaves
  • Green onions or scallions, chopped

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Chicken: Trim chicken breasts or tenders if needed, then season with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper to create a flavorful base.
  2. Bread the Chicken: Dip each chicken piece in mayonnaise or an egg wash, then coat thoroughly with bread crumbs or panko to ensure a crispy crust.
  3. Fry the Chicken: Heat a few tablespoons of neutral oil in a skillet over medium heat. Pan-fry the breaded chicken for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown and fully cooked. Drain on paper towels to remove excess oil.
  4. Make the Bang Bang Sauce: In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, and sriracha. Adjust the heat by varying the amount of sriracha until it suits your taste. Stir until smooth and creamy.
  5. Assemble the Sliders: Spread a generous amount of Bang Bang sauce on both halves of the slider buns. Place the crispy chicken on the bottom bun, then top with fresh lettuce and chopped green onions. Close with the top bun and serve immediately for best texture.

Notes

  • Use panko bread crumbs for a lighter, crispier coating.
  • Fry chicken in batches to avoid overcrowding the pan and maintain oil temperature.
  • If sauce is too thick, thin with a splash of water or lime juice.
  • Lightly toast slider buns to prevent sogginess and enhance flavor.
  • Keep assembled sliders warm in a low-heat oven until serving.
