  • 200g crushed biscuits or digestives (or gluten-free alternative)
  • 100g melted butter

Mint Layer

  • 395g condensed milk
  • 12 tsp mint extract or oil (adjust to taste)
  • A few drops green food coloring (optional)
  • 50g white chocolate, melted (optional, for creamier texture)

Chocolate Layer

  • 200g AERO chocolate bars

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Biscuit Base: Crush the selected biscuits finely but not into powder to retain a bit of crunch. Melt the butter and combine it thoroughly with the biscuit crumbs. Press this mixture firmly into a lined tray to form an even base layer. Chill it in the fridge to set firmly.
  2. Make the Mint Layer: In a bowl, blend condensed milk with mint extract and green food coloring if using. For a creamier mint layer, melt the white chocolate gently and fold it into the mint mixture. Pour this mixture evenly over the chilled biscuit base and smooth the surface.
  3. Add the AERO Chocolate Layer: Gently melt the AERO chocolate bars in short microwave bursts, stirring frequently to prevent burning. Once smooth, pour the melted chocolate over the mint layer and spread evenly to create a bubbly, light chocolate top.
  4. Chill and Set: Place the prepared slice in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours or until fully set. This allows the flavors to blend together and the layers to solidify for clean slicing.
